FINALS WEEK!

I AM DONE.

DONE.
DONE.
DONE.

I should probably say finished, but you know what? Done just seems to have a final tone.

What am I finished with?

My third semester of graduate school!

You know what that means???? ONE MORE SEMESTER!!!! AHAHA!!!

Gosh, I am so excited. I do really enjoy school, but I am excited for a new chapter. Hopefully I can do some good blogging over this break!

The past few days we've had some ice and snow here in Oklahoma. The roads aren't too bad where I am, but in some places, you can almost skate on the sidewalk! (It sounds cooler than it really is).

This was outside my door when it began Thursday (I think):

And this was Friday:

I'm not sure if you can tell, but it was pretty deep, and now that snow has been walked on, and there is tons of ice on my sidewalk!!

Anyway, I love snow. ESPECIALLY around Christmas!!!

Do you guys get snow where you're at? Do you love it?

  1. We're getting snow right now. But as I live in the White Mountains, it's more unusual when it doesn't snow in December.

And congrats on getting through the semester. I remember when I was still in school how excited I was to finish that third semester. The end was so close and I couldn't wait.

    1. I honestly can't imagine living somewhere where snow is normal enough that people just live out their daily life like it wasn't on the ground. LOL. When it snows here, it's like the apocalypse. People get gas, and stock up on food. Yes! It is nice. I feel like I can breath!

  3. I'm in Indiana, and we have snow right now too. It was our first bigger one. And work closed, so I got to leave at 3:30 on a Friday instead of 7 like I was scheduled. Best Friday ever! =)

    1. Hey! I have tons of friends from Indiana (weird, huh?). They always make fun of us for freaking out when snow and ice hit! Yes, leaving work earlier makes for great days!

  5. Yay for you on finals! My daughter has one more week and I know she needs a break!

I love snow and always wish for it, but it is a very rare treat here and usually doesn't happen until after the holidays, like in April - which is weird for AZ! :)

  8. Here in Alaska we're upset that the weather's so warm--30° today. Makes it much slicker. If you're interested in our weather I blog about it every Monday.

  9. I'm in Minnesota, we get plenty of snow. :) I do like it, it's beautiful when it's fresh, but I could do with a little less of it. ;)

  10. We have snow, but the wind here in Chicago makes it difficult to enjoy it; I'm just trying not to let the wind knock me over. :) Congratulations on being almost done with graduate school! That's definitely an impressive feat.
