Well, it is official! Yesterday I graduated with my Master's in Library Science and Information Studies. My focus is Middle Grade and Young Adult. Now, I just have to find a job!
At this moment, this is as far as I am going with my education. I never thought I'd have a Master's, and I don't think it's hit me yet that I do. I am so thankful for my education and my scholarship (Gates) for giving me the opportunity to go to college.

Me and Aladdin (and my dress!) |
We celebrated by going to eat, having some frozen custard, and watching a movie. Then I fell asleep so fast, I don't even remember laying down.
Now, I'm off to write! <3
Huge congrats, Ashley! That is awesome.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Nicole!
DeleteCongratulations! Love what your degree is in, you'll rock whatever library/school is lucky enough to nab you. =) And your graduation cap is fantastic!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Leandra! I had so much fun making it!
DeleteYAY, massive congrats to you!!! I last studied in 2006 (getting my postgrad diploma in Library & Info studies then), and don't have any desire to do anymore study. Except the little free courses you can do online, anyway (I've done a few of those lately). But I am sooo close to finally having my student loans paid off, and never want to add to that particular debt ever again. :P
ReplyDeleteThanks, Trisha! Congrats for getting those student loans payed off! They are tough! Luckily, I was on scholarship--but I am very much ready to put my academic career to rest. I love to learn, but I'll read books instead!
DeleteCongratulations!!!! Hope the job hunt is fast, easy, and lucrative!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Elizabeth!!
DeleteThank you!
ReplyDeleteComing in late, and fighting my internet to say it, but still ... congratulations!
