HI GUYS!
I HAVE INTERNET.
I didn't have Internet for about three days (maybe four). I know that's not a long time, and I wasn't going insane--it was actually quite a nice break. It made me contemplate all sorts of librarian-isk things like how reliant we are on technology and being a digital native and all that jazz (yay master's degree!)
Why did I not have Internet?
Well, I moved. Into a house! Woohoo!!
I have my own office space! Once it's finished I'll post pics so you can see.
Also, I'm off to London on the 21st! I'll be back on the 28th with lots of pictures for you guys! I'll also get to work on the second Cutlass book! :D
BTW - THANK YOU ALL AGAIN FOR ALL YOUR WONDERFUL HELP AND FEEDBACK. I LOVE the writing community. There are so many amazing people out there!
Much love!
-Ashley
Ooh, can't wait to see the new office, love stuff like that! Have fun in London, envious! ;)
ReplyDeleteIt is coming together, Leandra! I'm so excited. I've never had an office that wasn't something else (you know, like a den or a bedroom, LOL).
DeleteIt's definitely difficult to live without the Internet, even for just a few days. I think it's because it's a major source of entertainment now, even more so than TV.
ReplyDeleteWe had no internet recently and it was difficult - especially for the kids! I'm in London next week, maybe see you around lol!
ReplyDeleteI found your blog while searching in search engines, and it is a wonderful one.
ReplyDeleteI want to go to England! Congrats on the new house and the time to think and write.
ReplyDeleteAshley, congrats on all you AMAZING news, not the least of which is your book - I've been so removed from the blogosphere for so long, I'm way behind on my blog buddies' news. BUT I've just bought Cutlass on Kindle and it's the second next book I'm devouring just as soon as I'm through with Anne Rice. So to speak. ;-)
ReplyDeleteGraduation, book debut, house? Check, check, check! I hope you take some time to celebrate in London, lady, because that's some pretty amazing stuff you've accomplished lately. ;)
ReplyDeleteSome blog are written in a way that cannot be forgotten, inface everyone reads it all, you're is one of them. Thanks for the nice post.
