More Awesome Stuff!

First, I won a book!! The beautiful Amber Clites had an awesome giveaway! I won Wither by Lauren DeStefano:

Doesn't it look awesome?!?! I CANNOT wait to read this! Thanks, Amber!

I was tagged in a few posts. The first is from the lovely Honey at Stories to Share. She's a sweetheart! Definitely check out her blog!

I'm supposed to give 11 Facts about myself and answer 5 of Honey's questions:

I'm not a boring person, but this blog isn't all about me, so I'll talk about my characters:

1. Many of the names/places/events that take place in my book are 'spoofs' of history.
2. And example would be Leaf's name--I thought of it after learning about Leif Erkison.
3. I'm thinking about revisiting my first Trilogy--It's called The Secrets of Lweven.
4. A bloodhound named Daisy appears in my second book, Flintlock. I have a bloodhound named Daisy at home.
5. My characters, despite being pirates, go to a lot of balls. lol.
6. In The Secrets of Lweven, I had a race called The Arethia. They were a race of Elves. They spoke Finnish.
7. I have maps for all my books. My first one is very detailed, painted, and pretty epic, in my opinion. The pirate one (which you can find HERE) is no longer accurate, but still very cool and enhanced by the wonderful Brittiny Hines!
8. The beginning of Cutlass has changed a MILLION times. I am never satisfied! :/
9. Sometimes, I find my character speaking through me...out loud...they're fighting...and it's embarrassing and I look like a crazy person.
10. I like weddings in books. :)
11. There's actually isn't a lot of magic in my books.

1.  If money were no object, where would you go?
All over Europe!

2.  Cats?  or Dogs?
Doggies. My Jaspy:

3.  Which would you rather read- science fiction, romance, mystery, or action?
Hmm. When I was younger, I loved mystery! Science fiction is good, too...lol. Idk! So difficult.

4.  Where would you rather be- at the mall, or at the beach?

Beach..as long as it isn't crowded!

5.  If someone gave you $1000 dollars- what would you do with it?

Lol. Probably put it toward my car!

Next, I was tagged in a meme from the wonderful Rachel Mary Bean at Writing on the Wall in the Lucky Number 7 Meme!

Very, very cool!

Here are the rules:

1. Go to page 77 of your current MS.

2. Go to line 7.

3. Copy down the next 7 lines - sentences or paragraphs - and post them as they're written. No cheating.

4. Tag 7 authors.

5. Let them know
Well, this won't make much sense. Lol..but here ya go!
 “Your ears aren't keen enough.”
“Are they after us?” asked Barren.
 “No.”
 “Then why are you concerned?"
“Whatever they are chasing just may prove helpful to us,” replied Leaf, stepping into the shadow.
Barren followed and the two waited.
Soon the shouts were close enough for Barren to hear. Just as Leaf had predicted, they....

Okay! So, I'm going to tag 7 people to do both of these cool things:

Honey - Stories to Share
Cherie - Cherie Writes
Amber Clites - AmberAfterGlow
Kelly - Between the Bookends
A.E. Martin
Jennifer - Nightingale Stories
Tara Tyler - Tara Tyler Talks

Okay! Awesome...I'm off to buy some graduation robes. Whoo!
