So, I was supposed to update you yesterday on my goals. I can tell you that I'm totally progressing on the Cutlass edits! :D I'm so excited! For once, I feel like everything is smoothly coming together and I like it. haha. As for blogging/going to more blogs..well, that's difficult for me. First, because I'm getting to the busiest part of school which is April--AND I'm doing that whole A-Z posting and each one is dedicated to my characters in some way or another and that's going to be tough, but I'll get through it!
I no longer have free weekends. I work Friday, Saturday and Sunday at Lowes. My position should be "Jack of all Trades" or something more fantasy-like...hmm...I'll get back to you on that one.
I read this book in a day:

Must. Write. Paper.
What these books made me realize once again--I LOVE being transported to another world. You might think I'm bored with real life or something, but when I read, I do not want to be in this world (for very long, anyways, lol). GIVE ME ANOTHER WORLD!
hehe.
Okay, I have lots to do:
Read Waverly
Write a paper over Waverly
Write a poem
2 Response papers
Blah. Glad it's Spring Break! I'm going to back edits for a little while, though.
<3
Good luck on your goals, and HURRAY for reading the Iron Fey series!!! It is such an excellent series, so happy you're enjoying them! Plus the covers are such eye candy!
ReplyDeleteI am so glad you told me about her site! I've been thinking about Ash and Meghan ever since I put the book down. I'm dying. Gah!
DeleteI finally finished Iron Knight the 4th book, and it was AMAZING. I am definitely Team Ash!
DeleteOh yeah. I love Ash. LOL. And not just because her perfect Ash is Ben Barnes! LOL.
DeleteHow many books are there?! I bought the novella that's between the first and second book.
LOL…Ben Barnes!!! There are four books and two novella's! Iron King, Winter's Passage (novella), Iron Daughter, Iron Queen, Summer's Crossing (novella), and Iron Knight! I really really loved this series!
DeleteI've read Winter's Passage. I'm waiting to read Iron Daughter because I know myself , and I will neglect homework if I begin it...so after these first three weeks in April, I will read it! haha.
DeletePlease wake me up when you're done. I am exhausted just reading about your busy life :)
ReplyDeleteLOL. I want to sleep!! But only two more months until I graduate!! Then I can sleep.
DeleteI'm on spring break too and it just can't be a total "break" from everything I have to do... Keep going!
ReplyDeleteYay Spring Break! lol.
DeleteAt least we don't have to go to class!
Good luck, Ashley. Oh, how I remember those days--the last mile of college--finishing up the last few assignments, when all I really wanted to do was enjoy the spring weather. Ahhhh. The memories.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Linda! It is SO tempting to not go to class when we have lovely weather, or bad weather for that matter! lol. But it will all be worth it!
DeleteHaha. Remember to enjoy Spring Break. You only get four (or in my case six...:))
ReplyDeleteIt's been good so far! I was thinking about that today...I won't have many more! :(
DeleteI am so glad I'm not in school anymore! Gosh! lol. The "real world" isn't much better though. Even less free time :(
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your papers!
lol. That's why I'd just like to stay in my books! Thank you!!
DeleteI totally understand what your talking about when you say that you like being transported to another world. I tend to like that also.

Yay!! I'm glad I'm not the only one. ;) I was asked why I liked that about books, and I was thinking "HOW IS THIS A QUESTION?!"
DeleteYou're going to need a vacation from vacation!
ReplyDeleteTotally. Already feeling that need. lol. Too bad it's like two months away.
DeleteElizabeth stole what I was gonna say, lol.
ReplyDeleteI haven't read that series yet, but it's been on my list forever!
READ READ READ!!! It takes a day cause you can't put it down!!!
DeleteThanks for sharing about Julie Kagawa's books - I haven't heard of them before and they look amazing! And I really, really agree on the whole "transport me to another world" thing!! Good luck with break/editing. :)
